Basement wall cracks are typically a common problem in wet, leaky basements. Wall cracks can be found an block wall and poured foundational walls. These cracks allow the flow of water into a basement. Sealing them will stop the immediate water seepage and funnel the water down to the SquidGee Dry Basement Waterproofing System.
Wall cracks should be sealed from the top down to within 4" of the floor. Use an epoxy paste, typically available in the paint department at your local home center to seal the cracks. Don't seal the bottom 4" because the water needs to be able to flow freely into the SquidGee Dry System, making your once wet basement now DRY!
